2009 Taste of Lee's Summit
Educational Foundation's 10th Annual Dinner & Auction Was Huge Success
Thanks to the support of hundreds of guests, volunteers and vendors, the 10th Annual Taste of Lee's Summit, held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Pavilion at John Knox Village, was a huge success.
The action-packed evening featured one-of-a-kind live auction items and hundreds of silent auction items. Auctioneers, Mark and Robin Dawson (KCP&L and Lee's Summit Medical Center), helped keep the energy level high throughout the evening.
Guests enjoyed a plethora of treats and fine delicacies provided by the generous, local restaurants indicated on the map below.
A special thank you to the following businesses that provided additional support: Hy-Vee, Cosentino's Price Chopper, and Central States Beverage Co.
Proceeds from the evening helped support programs in need across the entire district including the music programs at each high school and programs at Great Beginnings Early Education Center.
